Svetlogorskaya Street is a street in the Sovetsky District of Nizhny Novgorod. It is located in a residential area near Gagarin Avenue; Svetlogorsky Lane and Svetlogorsky Passage run nearby.[3]

Location and Buildings

The street is approximately 4 km from the historic center of the city.[2] In its vicinity are Shveytsariya Park, Pushkin Park, the Okeanis shopping center, and a water park.[5] The nearest metro stations are Gorkovskaya (about 2.3 km) and Leninskaya.[2]

House numbering includes at least addresses 1 through 13, including lettered ones (1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 5A).[4] Among the buildings are No. 1B, a two-story communal-type apartment building with shared kitchens and bathrooms, and No. 6, a multi-story residential building (17 floors, concrete blocks).[5]

Notable Events

In late August and early September 2026, an interfloor ceiling collapsed in one of the apartments in building No. 1B; there were no injuries.
