The House of Culture takes part in district cultural events together with other institutions of Arzamassky District: in particular, in August 2024 it was one of the organizers of Village Day in Krasnoye, held as part of the patronal feast in honor of the Smolensk icon of the Mother of God "Hodegetria".[2][1]

Creation of a Children's Cultural and Educational Center

In October 2026, the Ministry of Culture of Nizhny Novgorod Region announced the results of the selection of institutions to receive a federal subsidy under the "Family" national project. The House of Culture of the village of Shatovka was among the five sites on whose premises children's cultural and educational centers are planned to open in 2027. The other four institutions are the Chernoramenskaya Children's Library in the urban-type settlement of Gidrotorf in Balakhna Municipal Okrug, the V. I. Chapayev Library in the Nizhegorodsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, the T. A. Mavrina Nizhny Novgorod Regional Children's Library, and the G. M. Grechko Nizhny Novgorod Planetarium.[1]

Nineteen million rubles are being allocated from the federal budget for the creation of the five centers. The funds are intended for the installation of modern equipment; the centers are to focus on developing socialization skills in children and teenagers and on providing knowledge in various fields. According to Nizhny Novgorod Region Minister of Culture Natalya Sukhanova, each center will receive its own profile of work with young people.[1]
