Before its current address, Santekhlyuks had the website stl-nn.ru. This domain was registered in May 2009 [7], and a copy of it in the web archive from August 2, 2009 already shows an online store with the sections "New Arrivals," "Special Offers," "Our Stores," "Jobs," "Contacts," and "Price List," a plumbing catalog, and the caption "Santekhlyuks Company © 2009 Nizhny Novgorod" [5]. The domain stl-nn.com was registered on March 15, 2016 [4]; the earliest surviving copy of the site at the new address dates from April 7, 2016 [8]. At that time the site presented Santekhlyuks as a chain of plumbing stores and, besides the catalog, price list, and promotions, had sections on partners, projects, the warehouse, the vehicle fleet, and jobs, as well as reviews, a "Question and Answer" section, and a section of useful information — articles on choosing between an acrylic and a cast-iron bathtub, on underfloor heating, on adjusting toilet flush mechanisms, and on how to quickly refresh a bathroom [8]. The contacts listed an office and 11 stores in Nizhny Novgorod and one more store each in Kstovo and Vyksa, while the callback form let users choose one of the city's eight districts or Kstovo [8].

In January 2019, the "About the Company" page stated that Santekhlyuks is a chain of 16 stores plus a wholesale department: 12 stores in the districts of Nizhny Novgorod and 4 in the Region — in Vyksa, Kstovo, Arzamas, and Bogorodsk; the first store opened in 1996, after which the number of suppliers and stores grew [9]. According to an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRYuL), the company was registered on July 28, 2015, and its main line of business is retail sale of hardware, paints and varnishes, and glass in specialized stores [3].
