Revolution Square (formerly Vokzalnaya Square, then Chelyuskintsev Square) - located directly in front of the Moscow Railway Station (Nizhny Novgorod).
In Soviet times it was a site of demonstrations.

The left edge is the intersection of Litvinov and Sovetskaya streets, where the former Railwaymen's Commune building (1929-34) stands. At the other end are the McDonald's building (Kharitonov, Pestov, Tarasov, 1998), the Respublika Shopping Centre shopping center (Ferrari Moscow Studio, 2005), and the Central Department Store building (built in 1935-36 by A. Zhukov, facades reconstructed in 1953 by V. Rymarenko).

The section of the square near Moskovsky railway station has repeatedly been the site of collisions with pedestrians: in 2025, an employee of the regional government died there after getting out of a taxi, when she was struck by a bus, whose driver was later handed a guilty verdict. In 2026, the city transport department, together with the Traffic Management Center (TsODD), the traffic police (GAI) and Russian Railways (RZhD), changed the traffic pattern on the square: road signs were relocated and added, the bus passenger drop-off zone near the Tsarsky Pavilion was widened, and a stop for private cars and taxis was set up opposite the central entrance to the railway station. To monitor compliance with pickup and drop-off rules, the City Road Traffic Center (TsRTS) installed additional video surveillance cameras in the stopping zone.
