LLC "Renaissance Scientific and Technical Center" was a Nizhny Novgorod design organization, registered on February 15, 2005, and dissolved on August 19, 2013, through reorganization in the form of a merger into LLC "City-Auto."[2] The Center was part of the Renaissance group of companies, whose president was Sergey Aleksandrovich Sokolov, who also served as director of the Scientific and Technical Center.[1]

Activities

The organization's main line of business was architectural activity (OKVED 74.20.11); in addition, the company engaged in the design of industrial premises, engineering structures, and hydraulic engineering facilities, the development of designs for industrial processes in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, mining, chemical technology, and mechanical engineering, as well as the design of air-conditioning, refrigeration, and sanitary systems.[2][5] The organization's registered address: Nizhny Novgorod, Belinsky Street, building 9/1.[3]

In 2011, the Renaissance Scientific and Technical Center won a state contract worth 14,000,000 rubles through an open tender; the subject of the contract was design documentation and a feasibility study, with a completion deadline of December 1, 2012, and funding from the federal budget.[4]

Management and Organizational Structure

The director and president of the Renaissance Group of Companies was Sergey Aleksandrovich Sokolov (born June 25, 1949), a graduate of GISI (1973) and the Moscow Architectural Institute, who specialized in the design of real estate projects and was the author and co-author of more than 35 scientific works, including the book "Dialectics of Business" and a textbook on innovation management.[1] At the final stage of the legal entity's existence, from March 27, 2013, the director and sole founder (100% of the charter capital — 20,000 rubles) was Valery Ivanovich Larenkov.[2]

Liquidation

On August 19, 2013, the Renaissance Scientific and Technical Center ceased operations as a result of reorganization in the form of a merger; the successor was LLC "City-Auto."[2][5] By that time, the organization had appeared in arbitration cases as both plaintiff and defendant; the last recorded case is dated February 28, 2014.[2]
