Olga Nikolaevna Senyutkina (born 5 February 1951) is a professor in the Department of Cultural Studies, History, and Ancient Languages at the Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University named after N.A. Dobrolyubov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor.
Education
GSU named after N.I. Lobachevsky, majoring in "history," 1973. Has worked at NGLU named after N.A. Dobrolyubov since 1979.
Areas of research
A specialist in the history of civilizations, the history of Russia, Turkology, and the history of the Nizhny Novgorod Tatars. Undertook specialized training in European countries and the United States on questions of world history and social studies.
Publications
Author of more than 100 scholarly and methodological works, including 7 monographs. Expert of the Nizhny Novgorod Cathedral Mosque (the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of N. Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region) on scholarly matters. Member of the editorial board of the Nizhny Novgorod Muslim newspapers "Medina al-Islam" and "Millyat," and of the DUMNO journal "Islam na Nizhegorodchine" (Islam in the Nizhny Novgorod Land).
Awards
Laureate of the Nizhny Novgorod Prize in the "Local History" category (1998). Laureate of the Faizkhanov Prize in science and education (2006). Laureate of the N.A. Ostrovsky Prize "For a Significant Contribution to the National and Spiritual Development of the Tatars of the Nizhny Novgorod Region," awarded with a gold medal (2006). Awarded the "Honor and Benefit" badge of merit by the International Charitable Foundation "Benefactors of the Century" (2005).
