The Nizhny Novgorod (regional) branch of the Russian Monarchist Movement is a union of supporters of the restoration of monarchy in Russia, bringing together up to 170 members, among whom are nearly all representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod Gubernatorial and Dzerzhinsk City Noble Assemblies.
Nature of the Movement
The society sets itself the task of establishing contacts with other socio-political movements that are ideologically loyal to the Russian Imperial House and have received recognition from the head of the Russian Imperial House, Her Imperial Highness, Sovereign Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna.
Membership
- Admission to membership in the movement is not based on caste criteria requiring confirmation of the roots of one's lineage, but strictly on the principles of loyalty to the idea of restoring the legitimate authority of the Russian Imperial House.
- Membership in the organization is processed according to the form approved by the movement's leadership; the following documents are submitted:
an application, an autobiography, 2 photographs, an oath of allegiance to the Russian Imperial House, which must be taken in an Orthodox church with the kissing of the cross and an oath on the Gospel.
Activities
The movement participates in civic public events aimed at the revival of the historical, spiritual, and moral foundations of the Russian people.
The regional organization maintains a photo and film archive of the regional branch of the RMpD movement.
Stable contacts have been established with representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church; the organization has its own spiritual father, and virtually all work and activity is carried out with his blessing, within the existing framework of the law on political parties in Russia.
All decisions of the RMpD leadership that reach us are communicated to every member of the movement.
