Nevzorovykh Street is a street in the Upper Town of Nizhny Novgorod. It runs through several of the city's districts, with addresses spanning at least from building No. 21 to building No. 111, indicating a considerable length. Archival photographs from the 1950s show Nevzorovykh Street in the area of 1st Proyezd, which had ceased to exist by a later date.[1]
Located facilities
At Nevzorovykh Street, building No. 34, is the Nizhny Novgorod Motor Transport Technical College (NATT) — a state-funded vocational secondary education institution founded in 1930.
Building No. 21 on Nevzorovykh Street was the home of surgeon and Honorary Citizen of Nizhny Novgorod Mikhail Veniaminovich Kolokoltsev; a memorial plaque bearing his name has been preserved on the façade of the building.
At Nevzorovykh Street, building No. 58, was the forest-chemical holding company Orgkhim — CJSC Trading House "Orgkhim," which had been in existence since 1932.
Landslide situation
Building No. 111 on Nevzorovykh Street falls within a zone of landslide activity on the slope in the Novinki area. Recurring ground movements have been recorded at this site since 2014; in the summer of 2026, residents of one of the buildings in the landslide zone were urgently evacuated to temporary housing stock, and a renewed criminal case was opened against those found responsible.
