From 1919 – clerk at the Provincial Department of Social Security; 1920–1922 – service in the ranks of the Red Army (RKKA); 1922–1928 – student at Nizhny Novgorod State University; from 1928 – chief engineer at "Nizhsilikattrest"; from 1934 – assistant at the "Machine Parts" department of the Gorky Polytechnic Institute named after Zhdanov; from 1944 – assistant dean of the Faculty of Mechanics; 1953 – associate professor; 1954 – head of the "Machine Parts" department; from 1959 – dean of the Faculty of Mechanics.
