Gorky Agricultural Institute with honors (1982), majoring in "agronomy"; postgraduate studies (1991).

Previous places of work

1982–1984 — the Kalinin kolkhoz in Gorodetsky District, chief agronomist; in 1984 transferred to the post of chief agronomist of the "Mir" kolkhoz in Komerinsky District of Gorky Region; from 1985 to 1988 — deputy chairman of the V. I. Lenin and "Pobeditel" kolkhozes in Dalnekostantinovsky District; since 1991 — engaged in teaching work.

Main facts of activity

Author of more than 70 published scientific papers and teaching materials, including the monograph "Spring Wheat," author and co-author of 9 textbooks; under the scientific supervision of M. B. Terekhov, 21 candidate dissertations have been defended.
