fizkult-nn.ru is the website of the FizKult fitness club chain, which operates in Nizhny Novgorod, Dzerzhinsk, and Kstovo [1]. The chain presents itself as the Nizhny Novgorod Fitness Group [2]; the limited liability company "Nizhegorodskaya Fitness Group" was registered in 2009, and its main line of business according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities is the operation of fitness centers [3].

History

The domain fizkult-nn.ru was registered in December 2011 [4]. The earliest surviving copy of the site in the web archive dates to July 20, 2012: the site presented the clubs "FizKult Meshchera" and "FizKult Parkovaya," a guide for club members, the schedule, club rules, and events, and its news section announced a contest, "Mom, Dad, and Me — the Best FizKult Family!", for the birthday of the "Seventh Heaven" shopping and entertainment center, where "FizKult Meshchera" operates [5][1]. In August 2012, the site reported the opening, on August 15, of the "FizKult Parkovaya" club — the first fitness club with a swimming pool in the center of Dzerzhinsk [6].

In January 2015, the site published schedules and price lists for four clubs — "Start," "Parkovaya," "Meshchera," and "Delovaya" — descriptions of aquatic, group, and children's programs, an events program, corporate membership terms, and a "FizKult-FAN" section for club members; its news section covered the release of issue no. 38 of the magazine "Fitness Digest" and a fitness marathon of Les Mills programs on September 27 in Pushkin Park [7]. In January 2019, the site described "FizKult" as a federal brand and reported that 9 clubs of the chain were operating in Nizhny Novgorod and Dzerzhinsk, with more than 45,000 people working out in them; the site had gained a personal account, installment and monthly-payment memberships, loyalty and inter-regional visit programs, a "Fit Blog," and sections for corporate clients, instructors, and advertisers [8].

Site contents

The current "About the Company" page mentions 13 clubs — 11 in Nizhny Novgorod and one each in Dzerzhinsk and Kstovo — more than 55,700 club members, and a staff of about 950 employees [2]. The site's main page lists the clubs by name: "Avtozavodsky," "Burnakovsky," "Gagarinsky," "Delovaya," "Korabli," "Kstovo," "Meschera," "Parkovaya," "Rodionova," "Sovetskaya," "Sport," "Start," and "Yuzhnoye" [1]. According to its chronicle, the chain's first clubs in Nizhny Novgorod were "FizKult Meschera" and "FizKult Start," followed by the opening of "FizKult Parkovaya" in Dzerzhinsk; in October 2015 a club began operating on Sovetskaya Square, followed by the first club in Avtozavodsky District, "FizKult Yuzhnoye"; in 2018 the ninth club, "Burnakovsky," opened, in early 2019 the tenth, "Avtozavodsky," and in March of that year the club on Rodionov Street was rebranded as FIZKULT BLACK — in the company's words, the chain's "younger, more dynamic, and most family-friendly" club [2]. In 2020 the clubs closed during the coronavirus pandemic, and memberships were extended by the length of the downtime; later a club in Sormovsky District and "FizKult Kstovo" with a children's pool opened [2].

The site's main page offers a list of clubs with addresses, schedules, and membership purchases, and the footer reads "© FizKult, 1996-2026" [1].
