The Faculty of Radiophysics is a structural division of Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod (UNN), one of the university's leading teaching and research divisions in the fields of physics, radiophysics, and oscillation theory. History and activity
The faculty already existed in the Soviet period under the name of the radiophysics faculty of Lobachevsky University. In particular, Boris Nikolayevich Gershman graduated from it in 1950 and later worked at the Department of Radio Wave Propagation of Lobachevsky Gorky State University from 1953 to 1989. In 1962 the faculty was graduated by Mikhail Izrailevich Rabinovich, who immediately entered postgraduate study and began teaching at the Department of Oscillation Theory; his research supervisor was Andrey Viktorovich Gaponov-Grekhov.

- Mikhail Izrailevich Rabinovich — graduated from the faculty in 1962, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, professor, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, specialist in the physics of nonlinear fields.
