Philosophy of communication, history of philosophy, social philosophy, philosophy of religion, philosophical anthropology, philosophy of culture. She founded a scholarly school — philosophy and sociology of communication — with research directions including the human being in the system of communication, and Germans in the history of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Author of 140 published scholarly works. Under the scholarly supervision of E.P. Savrutskaya, one doctoral and 10 candidate dissertations have been defended.
