«Dukhovnoye Naslediye» ("Spiritual Heritage") is a Nizhny Novgorod public organization operating under the Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas Diocese and engaged, among other activities, in organizing humanitarian missions in support of military personnel.[1]
Participation in a humanitarian convoy
The organization, together with the Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas Diocese's department for cooperation with the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, and with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod Region government, arranged the dispatch of a humanitarian convoy for military personnel. The charitable foundation «Oko Lyubvi» ("Eye of Love") also joined the effort. The total cargo weight was 15 tonnes, comprising tools and materials for constructing dugouts, camouflage netting, medical supplies and medications, and household equipment. In the Perm Region, the convoy was supplemented with 30 cubic metres of lumber. Part of the cargo was intended for Nizhny Novgorod Region servicemen stationed in Belgorod Region, as well as for medical workers from Nizhny Novgorod Region serving in the Donetsk People's Republic.[1]
