Dreamlaser is a Nizhny Novgorod company in the field of multimedia technologies and technical production, specializing in light and laser shows, 3D mapping, AR/XR installations, museum technologies, and multimedia support for large events.[1] It is based in Nizhny Novgorod and is among the residents of the Nizhpoligraf creative cluster ("Masters' Park").[3]

Activities

The company has more than 5,000 completed projects in the categories of AR/XR, 3D mapping, presentations, installations, multimedia and laser shows, music festivals, and museum technologies.[2] Dreamlaser works with both private clients and state cultural institutions.

Its completed projects include the opening ceremony of the All-Russian "Russian Student Spring" festival at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium: to illuminate the entire surface of the football arena, 24 Christie d4K40-RGB projectors and 12 Boxer 4K30 projectors, 145 sq. m of LED screens, and 1,000 LED bars were used, along with disguise 2VX4 and 2gx2c media servers. The content was created for an original soundtrack by Anton Belyaev and Dmitry Selipanov, performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Glinka Conservatory and the academic choir of Lobachevsky University, together with the TPO108 and MF Group teams.[2]

For the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum, the company created a VR tour of Konstantin Makovsky's painting "Minin's Appeal to the People of Nizhny Novgorod": wearing virtual reality headsets, visitors find themselves "inside" the canvas and learn its history from the voices of the artist and the characters.[2]

As part of the "Days of Nizhny Novgorod Culture" at the concert hall of Zaryadye Park, Dreamlaser developed the creative concept, technical setup, and content, providing 360° visual support: kinetic winches changed the configuration of the LED screens, and unique original content was created for about 20 artist performances.[2]

For the IBM Cloud and AI Forum, the company set up an XR studio with a 25 sq. m LED pavilion, three cameras (one on a 20-meter telescopic crane), the stYpe RedSpy tracking system, and an array of disguise gx2c and VX4 media servers; all the "magic" was laid out in a 120-page script.[2]

Intervals Festival

Dreamlaser is the organizer of Intervals, an annual international multimedia art festival that has been held in Nizhny Novgorod since 2017. The festival bills itself as the largest media art festival in Russia and brings together multimedia installations, audiovisual performances, musical performances, and an educational program; most exhibitions are free to attend.[2]
