c-tekh.nn.ru is the website of a Nizhny Novgorod car dealership, Firma Tsentrotekh LLC, a dealer of GAZ and, since 1999, an official Mitsubishi dealer. The site operated from 1999; the footer of its home page carried the credit "Designed by NN.RU", as it was built by the NN.RU studio.[1][2]

The Firm

According to the account on the site, Tsentrotekh had operated in the automobile market since 1995, was among the ten largest dealers of OJSC GAZ, also sold VAZ cars, and from December 1998 sold Mitsubishi, "a novelty of the Nizhny Novgorod market."[1] In June 1999 the firm announced that it had become an official Mitsubishi dealer and invited visitors to the Avtotekhservis-99 exhibition at the Nizhny Novgorod Yarmarka.[1]

What Was on the Site

The 1999 version of the home page carried the lines "We work with the debts of OJSC GAZ" and "We accept Sberbank promissory notes as payment." In 2000 the home page featured Mitsubishi models from the Carisma to the L200, with a "new" label on the Pajero Pinin and Pajero III, price lists for the Volga and GAZelle, VAZ, Toyota, and Mercedes, as well as auto service and tuning — from computer diagnostics for Mitsubishi to the installation of a "combi-comfort" package on the Gazelle and Sobol.[1] The firm bought up bank promissory notes, including paying for them with cars, as well as the plant's debts and promissory notes; if it found GAZ cars available cheaper, it offered to buy them out.[1] In the price list dated September 6, 2000, the GAZ-3110 Volga cost from 115,800 rubles.[1]

The Fate of the Address

By 2002, the site had become a catalog with sections for Mitsubishi, Toyota, used cars, service, tuning, and a spare-parts warehouse store; the company's address was given as Kominterna Street in Nizhny Novgorod.[3] In 2009, the address www.c-tekh.nn.ru opened a hosting page from NN.RU: "a resource with this name was not found."[4]
