Main area of research
Medical and environmental monitoring of children's health under various living and learning conditions. Development of health-preserving technologies for use with innovative forms of teaching children and adolescents.

Author of 340 scholarly works, including 3 textbooks, 4 monographs, and more than 20 regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health of the USSR and the Russian Federation.
Membership in scientific and public organizations
Member of the Interdepartmental Scientific Council on Rational Nutrition of the Population under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Institute of Nutrition of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, member of the Supreme Coordinating Council of the Russian Society of School and University Medicine and Health. Academic secretary of the dissertation council for defending doctoral and candidate dissertations in the specialties "hygiene" and "epidemiology" at the Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy.
Awards
Holder of the title "Distinguished Public Health Worker." Repeatedly awarded Certificates of Honor by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the State Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Russian Federation, and other organizations.
