Main facts of his career

He worked as a design engineer at the TsKB MSP (Central Design Bureau of the Ministry of Shipbuilding Industry), at the plant named after Petrovsky. From 1944 he worked at the shipbuilding department, rising from postgraduate student to professor. From 1960 to 1974 he headed the "Shipbuilding" department.

Academic degrees, honorary titles, state awards

In 1975 he was awarded the academic title of professor. In 1965 his textbook "General Arrangement of Ships" was published, and in 1972 his monograph "Design of Hull Structures from Fiberglass" appeared. He is the author of the country's first textbook on the design of ships with dynamic lift support (1978). He is widely known for his work on the application of plastic structures in shipbuilding and in the field of high-speed ship design.
