Lopatkin Alexander Viktorovich (b. March 19, 1956) — deputy director of the Institute of Radioelectronics and Information Technologies (IRIT) of the R.E. Alekseev Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, Candidate of Technical Sciences, associate professor.

In 1988 he defended his candidate's dissertation. Since 1978 he has worked at the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University: engineer, assistant, research fellow, senior research fellow, associate professor of the "Computer Technologies in Design and Production" department. Since 1984 – deputy head of the department, since 2008 – deputy director of IRIT.

Computer technologies in the design and production preparation of radioelectronic equipment, CAD systems and CALS technologies.
