Korolev Alexander Nikolaevich (born August 21, 1928) — colonel, retired. Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Nizhny Novgorod.

Higher Party School under the CPSU Central Committee (1963).

Previous places of work

36 years of service in the Armed Forces of the USSR. From 1952 — service in the Soviet Army. Graduated from the Zhitomir Red Banner Anti-Aircraft Artillery School (1956). Until 1957 — held non-commissioned officer positions in units of the country's Air Defense Forces. 1957–1958 — assistant head of the political department for Komsomol work; 1959–1966 — political work in the anti-aircraft missile forces; 1966–1986 — head of the political department, secretary of the commission under the political section of the 16th Air Defense Corps, Gorky; from 1986 to the present — work in the veterans' organization.

State awards

Order of the Red Star, USSR medals "For Combat Merit" and commemorative medals (16 pieces).

Membership in public, scientific and other organizations

Member of the Councils of War and Labor Veterans at all levels since 1989 (Air Defense Forces), deputy chairman of the regional council of war and labor veterans.

Hobbies

Amateur gardener.
