Historical photographs of Gruzinskaya Street date from the period 1886–1916, indicating that it existed as an established urban thoroughfare as early as the late 19th century.

A street in Nizhegorodsky District. It runs from Pochainsky Ravine, crossing Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street, to Oshara. In the 17th century, the estate of the Gruzinsky princes was located in this area.

Part of Gruzinskaya Street was formerly known as Bolotov.
